As shown in this screenshot the world is monitored, protected, and ran by Linux. -Well at least in the new movie Surrogates, lol. Near the end of the movie when they are trying to stop/disable the uploaded virus and the admin there talks about typing something into a terminal; I grabbed a screenshot and sure enough, it was a *NIX machine, showing what looks like bash running in a few terminals one of them in /usr/local/ :D. Great fun another empowerment for us, it's not like the web would even work these days without Linux or BSD, but in this case it's in control of over a billion "people" in this movie. Funny to me at least.
