Ok, so my first idea is to encrypt your pub key with a crazy strong password from https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm and then put the password on a secure, one-time viewable [then it auto-destroy's] linking site. [there was an article on digg?...]

Or an alternate scenario would be that a pre approved user would can get third[new] key through a secure channel [ex. Bill & Preston are secure so if you Preston has securely obtained SuperMegaTron's key hey could send it in a file through the encrypted channel in an untampered secure manner.

Any more ideas on getting keys securely from *long* distance friends? I'm thinking of doing up a faq with several methods if I can get a couple more ideas. I'm trying to tackle a solution assuming that for this to work, the web MUST be used. Thankx
