So for as long as I can remember I have been using a BSD of some sort for my server needs. I am going to officially make the switch to Linux and Ubuntu on this occasion. As my time is becoming more and more occupied I have less time to tend to things. And honestly I have found no quick and effective way of easily and seamlessly updating/upgrading packages that I like in either OpenBSD or FreeBSD which are the two primary BSD flavors I use. Although there are several reasons I'm making this move, that is just one of the things that's been nagging me for a while and helped sway my decision. So for now I'm downloading the Juanty Server install CD as this is being submitted and I'll begin setting everything up over this next week. It should be an interesting time and a good refresher. I use Linux exclusively on the desktop but as I mentioned, for as long as I can remember I've used nothing but BSD on the server side of things :D. I'll keep things updated on this thread and we'll see how it goes.**Note, this is my personal home machine
