Join our Folding@Home Team : #46543 - SecurityConcept

For many years now, I have been a participant in the Stanford University Folding@Home Project. I joined some time after joining my very first LUG/BUG which was in Paducah, KY as well, sort of the I've replaced since it's own disbandment after I left for Iraq. This project is very interesting and is heading in the right direction in my opinion for opening up new doors utilising distributed computing, shared resources, and an environment of users wanting to progress for the better of mankind.

For more information and to get started heck out the project homepage here:

You can check out the Stanford University team stats page, or some Awesome Stats provided by xcpus.com, I recommend the latter, it's extremely nice. Join team #46543 by running any of the Folding@Home clients.

Brand New Emachines office

Brand New Emachines office computer is on board as well. The first work units should be hitting the stats page any time. It's running the graphical client in Windows XP SP3, running right along so far. As I've said before, EVERY machine we add counts and this is a perfect example, another dedicated client running :D. Watch for the user: PaperSuppliesInc.com to show up on the stats page to see how it's doing.

GPU folding is key here. If

GPU folding is key here. If you have an nvidia card you can actually run the fah gpu2 client which is extremely fast; under WINE without any issues with CUDA. I've  been getting some insane PPD and jacking up the team points as well. So far we have 2 GPU's folding for the team:My 8800GTX optimized and overclocked as hellQuickBreeze has a GTX 275 running the client as wellQuickBreeze is averaging quite a bit more work than myself but the team effort is great!
